HOCHUNK
LANGUAGE DEPARTMENT
Little
Priest Tribal College had been home to HoChunk Language
and Culture Program since 1997. Once serving the Winnebago
community in regard to HoChunk language and culture
learning activities, in 2001 the program narrowed
its focus to language, serving primarily LPTC students
and staff, and has become the HoChunk Language Department
for the college.
